Yup, @azlenelza needs to be on my Deep Design twitter list.

Azlen @azlenelza ·

How do you watch a digital garden grow? Playing around with the idea of a newsletter where you can subscribe to individual notes or topics and receive a weekly/monthly newsletter of personalized updates

quoting @azlenelza: Launching new website! https://t.co/An2nw1hTVV Experimenting with new ways to navigate a network of notes and thinking with the garage door up

Here's another thing @azlenelza has been designing

quoting @azlenelza: Over just 24 hours last weekend @jborichevskiy and I built a spatial audio chat called Cozyroom that makes online meetings feel a bit closer to hanging out in a physical space Check out our prototype at https://t.co/YacaYMJUwo https://t.co/taWfmwjyTW

Also recently added @thisisneer to the Deep Design list, based in part on this tweet below and other visualizations.

#3. Flow These conversations are the most fun and interesting. Every word that you say is a potential node of inspiration for the other person to explore. The more you give of yourself, the more pathways there are to explore.

Further re @thisisneer—you don't need funky visualizations to get on the list though. This tweet just points at something that needs to exist, with a touch of metaphor design ("breadcrumbs" isn't a totally novel metaphor, but not typical for bookmarks)

neer @thisisneer ·

I'd love to be able to explore peoples' bookmarks. I'm less interested in peoples' notes on topics, or their takes on specific articles. I just want a system where curious minds can easily leave breadcrumbs of inspiration for others to pick up - nothing hyper-curated.

Aaaaand @DavidCrandall_W goes on the Deep Design list too. Epic thread about Roam's platform possibilities. Based on my talking with @Conaw this is all on the actual roadmap; David's just seeing it before most people.

Been thinking about the architecture behind @RoamResearch, where it's going, and how it fits into a larger toolbox. Broke it out into the following layers: ∙ Database ∙ Service ∙ Presentation Easier for me to think about it this way.

Obviously @tobyshorin & @tomcritchlow need to be on the Deep Design list.

Spirit of Toby Shorin @tobyshorin ·

I've been working on a new project with @tomcritchlow and it's out today! this is Quotebacks v1.0.1. It's a tool for: - creating linked text citations - cross-site conversations - digital gardening - building public knowledge graphs Get it: quotebacks.net

Just put @AndyAyrey on my Deep Design list based on this exploratory work in post-tab browsing.

Andy Ayrey @AndyAyrey ·

@Malcolm_Ocean @TurtlingB Used to work on a thing called @TrailblazerApp, where the primary mode of organisation was "trails" - developed a few thoughts around 'what is a tab', happy to chat them through!

Whaaaaat I am very excited about @geoffreylitt's @TwemexApp. I've also seen a few other tweets by him that tells me his thinking goes deep, so onto the Deep Design list he goes!

Geoffrey Litt @geoffreylitt ·

I'm building an extension that makes Twitter a better memex: ⭐️ Highlights: see someone's best tweets, not just most recent 📆 On This Day: revisit past tweets for inspiration 🔍 Search: find tweets to quote, w/ shortcuts for useful filters DM me if you want to try the beta!

Another Deep Design list addition! idk what, if anything, @njerig_ is *making*, yet, but the bio "dreaming about new browsers, OSes, computer systems" plus some of the tweets I'm reading, clearly indicates an uncommon depth of thought! twitter.com/njerig_/status…

@szimr built an app to help publish Niklas Luhmann's Zettelkasten archive? fyeah. he goes on the Deep Design list. twitter.com/szimr/status/1…

Oh man Zsolt is doing a bunch of cool stuff. Adding @zsviczian to my Deep Design list now

Zsolt Viczián @zsviczian ·

Hi #roamcult! Here's the Roam-Excalidraw Plugin MVP release. 👉👉👉 zsolt.blog/2021/03/roam-e… Many thanks to @Conaw, @aakansha1216, @Vjeux, @dwelle, @Roamhacker, @kvistgaard, @houshuang, and many others for helping make this happen!

Haven't thought about this list in awhile so kudos to @spencerc99's existence for reminding me of it! this design doc: "tiny internets: sidewalks, geocaching, and more" coda.io/@spencer/tiny-… and this thread:

spencer chang @spencerc99 ·

I've written about how technology often feels like magic, granting superpowers while inducing a loss of agency and even fear. The ability to actively shape how software behaves and have access to the underlying output data is crucial to a different future x.com/spencerc99/sta…

adding @benholmen for his approach to mapping shower temperature control

Ben Holmen @benholmen ·

There are a lot of problems in the world but we're not talking about a huge one: how much your shower control just plain sucks So I wrote a short manifesto... benholmen.com/blog/shower-te…
