"Korzybski: much of our problem originates in the fact that natural language seems to cross from negative to positive knowledge without noticing the difference. "I do not perceive that she has a cup" & "I perceive that she does not have a cup" seem equiv if we are not careful."

"I've noted before that I think quite a few blindspots revolve around people in a field of science running around seeking out positive knowledge until someone comes along & knocks the field on its head by formulating things in terms of the negatives that can actually be measured"
