wow this already feels amazing. I feel so much more focused. I need to jubilee more often tinder for tabs when
as the tabs come back (currently 15) I can cluster them: 5 quick access to an app/context (eg roam, complice, slack) 1 playing music right now 5 TODO / open loops (eg 'listen to song', 'reply to tweet') 3 probably unneeded old steps (eg search results, QS spreadsheet) 1 this tab
"this tab" as in literally the one I'm tweeting this in sometimes I need 2,3, maybe even 4 tabs to carry out one single task like "schedule a call with 2 other ppl" (my calendar, and two different chat windows) writing twitter threads often spawns many windows of scrap material
okay, continuing my live-documenting of this process of having lots of threads... I opened my tw notifications, which I do once or twice a week, and that spawned a few dozen tabs. have now whittled those down to 7 I want to act on kinda weird I processed the least important 1st

with some difficulty, I can kind of manually do the tinder for tabs thing, maybe. let's see. tab snooze them for like 3 months out, then go through one by one, I think (update: I wrote the above last night, snoozed all but 1, did that 1 which was a rich couple hours)
