Nice. Found this top tweet of @geoffreylitt's using his browser extension Twemex, which adds a powerful sidebar to twitter. (@AbhayPrasanna says it pairs nicely with @thlpr but I haven't tried that yet.)

When do programs die? A great answer:

If you want beta access, DM @geoffreylitt!

I'm building an extension that makes Twitter a better memex: ⭐️ Highlights: see someone's best tweets, not just most recent 📆 On This Day: revisit past tweets for inspiration 🔍 Search: find tweets to quote, w/ shortcuts for useful filters DM me if you want to try the beta!

Oh cool and then immediately after tweeting the above QT, I saw the QT displayed automatically in the Twemex sidebar. Fyeah.

Having an advanced search bar on the right side of my tweet composer is gonna both speed up my threading as well as Needs a hotkey to activate though, otherwise ctrl+t might actually end up faster.

Huh, come to think of it, I guess mouse nav is actually a pretty core part of writing a thread: - click (+) to create a new tweet in the thread - click to focus the different textboxes of each tweet Hmm.... would be super cool if @Twitter added something like ctrl+↑/↓ to jump.

Already sick of my own highlights though. Where's the On This Day feature instead? I might also prefer On This Day instead of highlights, for my mutuals. Like it's cool to see their highlights once, but otherwise better have something different each time.
