over the years I've sometimes described my minimum constraints for utopia as: - I get to eat bananas daily in canada - everybody's okay with how things are set up
obviously the 2nd one is the hard one. adding the first doesn't really make it any *harder*. but "bananas in canada" points at a spirit of global connectedness, as opposed to collapse. abundance, not austerity. that matters.
