upgraded @Brave browser, tried restoring wallet, it's empty wtf halp
@brave I can't even see how to open the old version of brave where my wallet might still exist
should I have selected "legacy" or whatever? I was using brave 1.27 before - that seemed fairly recent but I didn't look closely
if installing a new version of brave can destroy my fucking wallet, yall should warn I didn't think to make a backup first (dumb on my part) but I didn't think new version of software would overwrite the config where that was stored (wasn't even sure old software'd be removed)
yo @BraveSampson can you help me with this? why did installing a new version of brave nuke my wallet?
@BraveSampson update: Sampson helped! with this advice: > try brave://settings/wallet and switching your default wallet to "Crypto Wallets (Deprecated)". Then visit brave://wallet/ again and let me know if you see something different I now have the old wallet UI with my ETH back
@BraveSampson I still dunno how to get it into the new wallet, but at least it's not just gone-forever
