@danlistensto @QiaochuYuan This person has lots of fascinating models, but the way they choose to express them feels actively confusing. what do "white" and "dance" mean? not the usual meanings, in this article:

@danlistensto @QiaochuYuan Meanwhile, I'm as white as it gets and I grew up dancing improvisationally, at my home, not particularly because anyone taught me but just because humans want to dance when they hear music & nobody stopped me. If anything is a human birthright, dance is.

@danlistensto @QiaochuYuan Incidentally the thing about pants is kind of amusing, and a huge chunk of my ancestry is Scottish and would have done lots of kilt-wearing and Céili-dancing.
