Becoming the person who makes needed things happen

This (QT) is the energy I'm leaning into a lot right now. I wanna put something in my twitter bio that's like "idea guy who ensures things happen that need to happen. executes directly when he can't find someone else to do it" …but I haven't figured out quite how to phrase it.

@peternlimberg @procrastiwork @Conaw @edelwax @utotranslucence (I'm not attached to hosting, I just think it needs to happen.)

TBH it's a lil aspirational atm, although I have a proof of concept: I've demonstrated my capacity to have a vision & execute on it, by building complice.co —and I've long attributed its success to these meta 2 skills more than eg coding/mktg

@webdevMason Tech things I'd never touched before I started building complice.co:😮 - sending/receiving emails on server (thanks @Mail_Gun) - databases - caching - templates (mustache) - accounts, login, password hashing - javascript+audio - https / SSL - payments (thanks @stripe)

The place I'm trying to level up at at the moment is the skill of inspiring, encouraging, and empowering others to make things happen that I see as needing to happen. (Also to access their own visionary capacity, ofc—also a thing that needs to happen!)

Thing I want: a twitter-API-system for limiting follower count by automatically blocking then unblocking anyone who follows you (eg unless you follow them) I will pay $50 for a solution to this. Chime in if you'd chip in 👇

Honestly I'm still not that good at this 😂 but I'm practicing and it's pretty low-cost to practice so far🔰 This "meta-vision" thread that I made is part of me feeling into this in a way that's energizing to me, on like 3 levels of abstraction at once!

This is inspired for me in part by tapping into what for me is the answer to "what can I do that releases energy rather than requiring energy?" and finding the answer being something on the design/vision/strategy level that every company needs. twitter.com/Malcolm_Ocean/…

you wouldn't get anywhere like that you must do things that are just outside of your power to do

quoting @Malcolm_Ocean: don't do anything that is not within your power to do

Here's an interesting question: who would role models in this be? Ideas? There are founders/leaders, but like, I want to be the Paul Erdős of design-strategy, showing up and saying "my brain is open, let's jam" (he's a mathematician who went around to others saying that)
