Wanting a search engine that respects quotation marks

my kingdom for a search engine that respects quotation marks and is brave enough to tell me it can't fucking find anything with the exact quote

4 fails below in this case google actually *found the quote I was looking for* but it has been guilty of this, and probably started the trend tbh

oh wait actually maybe google is being fairly honorable about this I could have sworn I'd see it be an asshat on this front many times, but maybe someone fixed it? or maybe it's still an asshat sometimes pretty sure it changes words themselves sometimes

I'd switch to Brave search, and more recently started trying out You search, but maybe at this point I'm gonna go back to google, at least for searching anything interesting I noticed I was doing a lot of searching in incognito because I didn't want google to profile me
