Noticing when you're on your own instead of waiting to coordinate

"I need to fill my life with less waiting and more doing my own thing" — a friend of mine I think that's true for almost everybody and is part of the whole "refactoring self-other boundary" process I've been talking about if I'm on my own, I can do whatever I want!

in my experience, I often forget that I'm on my own when I'm on my own I'll have a sort of nebulous sense of wanting to do something with a housemate or partner or whatever, but... not actually be coordinating with them, so there's no way to find satisfying clarity of what to do

finding it so useful to refactor my self-other boundary sometimes I'm blocked because I accidentally left part of my agency in somebody else sometimes I'm blocked because I'm trying to resolve some error that's not actually native to my own system, without a feedback loop
