you've had some experiences and you're currently having some more experiences those experiences have something to say about the nature of the universe, but translating them is a huge puzzle

every experience you've ever had was real but almost none of them imply what you think they imply nor do they imply what other people claimed they imply

insofar as there are moral facts about the universe... as far as I can tell, the nature of them is they need to be discoverable independently from all perspectives they need to make sense to the hungry and the satiated, the cold and the cozy.

this is a high bar! most supposed moral facts don't achieve it. they fall obviously short of

but it's possible to learn to use different states of being as inspiration for noticing different aspects of the universe, without saying something that's absurd from another perspective by noticing where your attempted generalization contradicts something else you know
