@JeffLadish @Malcolm_Ocean @diviaprocessing I can't read the original tweet, but trying to guess from context, I think you're asking for the thing that was already done well by overcomingbias.com/2008/08/doctor… . Might be worth rewriting for the signalboost though.

kinda curious what prompted it now maybe it was specifically these recent headlines in which the scientists are actually trying to say "no, we actually have collected a bunch of evidence against this!" (after years of it meaning "we never checked") that was the tipping point
